What this site is

Vehicle Market Partners is an independent publisher of general educational material about used vehicle valuation and market intelligence.

What this site is not

We are not a licensed appraiser, a valuation service, a vehicle dealer, a wholesaler, an auction operator, a broker, a lender or a financial adviser. We do not buy, sell, consign, inspect or appraise vehicles, and we do not originate or arrange credit. We receive no commission, referral fee or other compensation in connection with any transaction a reader may enter into.

Nothing on this site is a valuation, appraisal, offer, or financial, legal or tax advice, and no content here creates a professional relationship between you and us.

Illustrative figures and the estimator

This is the most important term on the page. Every chart, table, index level, percentage and estimator output on this site is an illustrative example constructed to demonstrate a concept. They are not derived from vehicle transaction data, are not measurements of any real market, and are not forecasts.

The valuation estimator applies a deliberately coarse model to four inputs in order to show the direction and rough magnitude of the relationships described in our articles. It has no access to market data, no knowledge of your vehicle and no knowledge of your location. Its output is not a valuation, an appraisal or an offer, and it must not be used to price, buy, sell, insure, finance, tax or account for any vehicle. To price a specific vehicle, use a licensed valuation service together with a physical inspection.

Accuracy

Market conditions, reporting methodologies, regulations and regional rules change, and the general patterns described here have exceptions. We make no representation that content is current, complete or error free. If you find an inaccuracy, tell us through the contact page.

Photography is licensed from third-party providers and is not licensed onward to you.

Acceptable use
